I believe in living the best life you can and doing what you can to live it. I believe you are stronger than you think and can achieve incredible things if you can believe you can. I believe in art and the beauty it brings to people most importantly I believe in not denying your creative yearning but embracing them!

Originally from the UK. I studied a degree in printed textiles at and an MA in Games design at Liverpool John Moores University. once leaving university I became a 3D Artist for the games industry for four years,

but it was during my time as a games artist I got itchy feet and decided to go travelling. Once arriving at the sunnier shores of Australia, i decided to stay for a while and it has been my home for the past 10 years.

Whilst finding my feet in Australia I moved away from my art and settled into more 'office' based roles, working in the games industry wasn't for me either (I like to get my hands dirty with paint).

Try as I might I was unable to get away from my urge to be creative it kept nudging me and trying to remind me what I loved to do, eventually unable to resist the urge any longer I picked up my pencil and paints and as they say ‘the rest is history’

I've loved to draw since I was able to hold a pencil in my hands, you could often catch me sitting for hours with complete abandon just drawing away for the pure pleasure of it. I've since rediscovered that same lost abandon feeling in my illustrations and writing.

I live near the sea with my hubby and my sweet little girl. We love spending time outside on the beach and the parks. Its the simple things in life that make me happy.

Work

I use a mixed media of Ink, watercolour, collage, acrylic paint and any textures I can get my hands on! I have written a number of rhyming stories which feeds my inspirations for my art and illustrations. I am also a member of SCBWI.
